92

92 keeps a photo looking as it is, at a much smaller size than 100. Lower means a smaller file.

  • Free, no sign-up
  • Your photo never leaves your device
  • No camera data in the new files

How to convert an image

  1. 1

    Add your photos

Drop up to five files on the tool, choose them from your device or paste one from the clipboard.

  2. 2

    Pick the format

Choose JPG, PNG or WebP. The photos are converted at once; set the quality under “More options”.

  3. 3

    Download

Download each photo on its own, or all of them at once in a ZIP file.

Which format to choose

The format decides where a photo can be used and how large the file is. JPG is the safe choice for photos, PNG for pictures that must stay exact or see-through, WebP for websites.

FormatBest for
JPGPhotos for email, forms and social media: accepted everywhere
PNGScreenshots, logos and pictures with transparency; large files for photos
WebPPhotos and graphics on websites: small files, transparency allowed
HEICiPhone photos: small files, but many programs and sites cannot open them

Files the tool opens

JPG, PNG, WebP and HEIC or HEIF from an iPhone in every browser. AVIF and GIF open where the browser supports them; of a GIF, the first frame is converted.

Camera data stays behind

The new files are written from the picture alone, so they carry no camera data: no camera model, no date and no location. That is safer when you post a photo online. If you need that data, keep the original as well.

When the photo itself is the problem

Converting changes the file, not the photo: it cannot fix a blurry, dark or badly framed picture. If the photo is for a CV, a profile or an application and you have no good one, a professional headshot made from a few selfies gives you one.

Questions about converting images

Add the image, keep JPG as the format and download it. Up to five images can be converted at once.

Which formats can I convert?

JPG, PNG, WebP and HEIC or HEIF, to JPG, PNG or WebP. AVIF and GIF work in browsers that open them.

Yes, up to five at a time. Download each one on its own, or all of them together in one ZIP file.

Does converting lower the quality?

Not visibly at the default quality of 92, which keeps a photo looking as it is. PNG keeps every pixel. Converting cannot add detail that the original did not have.

No. The photos are converted by your browser, on your device. They are not sent to PicSuit or to anyone else.
