PicSuit turns a few everyday selfies into professional headshots, for people who need a good photo of themselves and have no time or budget for a photo shoot.

Why I built it

“Your photo is terrible. You need a new one.”

In 2025 I had my LinkedIn profile audited. The specialist didn’t soften it: my photo was terrible, and I needed a new one.

So I did what most people would do and asked a few photographers for a quote. The prices put me off straight away. Even a short session started at around $200, and that was before any retouching.

Next I tried AI headshot apps. The photos looked polished, but they didn’t look like me. In every one of them a stranger with my haircut was smiling back.

I was convinced that AI could make professional photos in which you still look like yourself. That’s why I built PicSuit.

What happens to your selfies

From the moment you upload to the moment we delete. No step is hidden.

    You upload 5–10 selfies

    They travel encrypted to our servers in the EU and are used for one thing only: your photos.

  2. About 7 minutes

    A model learns your face

    We train a private model on your selfies. It is yours alone and is never used for anyone else.

  3. About 20 minutes

    Your photos are ready

    You get 25 to 80 headshots in the outfits and backdrops you chose, and an email when they are done.

  4. Day 30

    Everything is deleted

    Your selfies and your model are deleted automatically. You can delete them sooner in your account, with one click.

  • Use your selfies or photos to train models for other people

  • Make photos for passports or ID cards: those need a real photographer
